Luče is a pleasant village in the Upper Savinja Valley, organizing a trek for the Slovenian Trekking League the second year in a row since the comments on the last year’s trek were very positive.

The same as last year the trail will lead you above the Savinja river to the mountains towering the region. The details are still a secret but one thing is clear: the trail will be just as challenging (if not more) as last year.

The Savinja river is a typical Alpine mountain river that rises at the far end of the Logarska Valley, under Okrešje mountain. It crosses the valley and continues its way towards South to Luče where it makes a small turn and joins the Lužnica river.

During the trek the eye will be able to catch glimpses of the Julian Alps, The Turracher Highlands, the Kamniške Alps and the Raduha Mountain with its mysterious Snow Cave.
