After many months of preparation and coordination we managed to setup schedule for Slovenian Trekking League 2010 – and here it is. Main characteristics of season 2010 are new locations, we will be together on many new places. Once more we will show, how attractive trekking landscape we can offer in Slovenia.
Season 2010 start little earlier as previous year, first trekking will be in April. This brings also early finish of season, last completion will be held in October. We are currently investigating some more opportunities for this year treks, and if they will be part of season we will let you know very soon. Trekking season 2010 APRIL – Skofja Loka Trek (3. April) We will start on 3.4.2010 in magical hills around ancient town of Skofja Loka. Characteristics of this trekking will be nice hilly points, which will offer spectacularly views on Gorenjska landscape and Julian Alps. Nature will start to blow in this period, so except warm feeling of spring. APRIL – Southeast Trek (24. April) After some weeks, on 24.4.2010, we will move forward in "Terra Inncognita" of Slovenia trekking - region of Bela krajina. In Natural park Kolpa we will organize Southeast Trek, which will takes us to miracle an unknown terrain of Slovenia south. MAY – Carinthia Trek (30. May) On end of May, 30.5.2010, we will be in guset on Slovenia north-east region of Carinthia (Koroska). Experienced organizers will present us new trekking story in beautifully hills, which will certainly be completely different as previous years – and they know how to do it! JUNE - Bovec Trek Race (19. June) In June, summer will come to full power. There is now better place to visit Soca Valley in summer time, with always welcome Bovec town. There we will organize already traditional Bovec Trek Race, which will as usually show place about Soca we don't know about them. AUGUST – Trek around Tolmin (7. August) In summer high, we will be guest in one more attractive location, in town of Tolmin. Very keen local organizers will show us their secrets – and they are many of them Mountains around Tolmin are high, and sea is not extremely far away – this bring unique climate conditions in beautiful nature landscape. OCTOBER - Feel Green Jezersko Trek ( 2. October) For finish, we will be guest place in Jezersko, northern mountain area in Slovenia. Feel Green Jezersko Trek will be certainly one of season's highlights – spectacularly mountains wait there for our trekking steps. Local organizers will combine forces with one of Slovenian best trekking experts and they will certainly prepare trekking which will stay in our minds for ever.
